We operate 9 lodging facilities, 31 restaurants, and 5 campgrounds inside Yellowstone. Our season runs from April to October. While preference is given to applicants able to work an entire season, we do hire people who can work for a shorter time period.
Positions start at 40 hours per week (time and a half is paid above 40 hours). Your assigned role may vary based on your experience level as well as our business needs. When you apply for seasonal work in Yellowstone, you may be considered for the following positions.
- Kitchen crew (prep, set-up, service, clean up, and restocking of food service areas)
- Room attendant (clean and prepare guest rooms)
- Laundry (wash, dry, fold, count, and sort sheets, towels, blankets, tablecloths, napkins and more)
- Front of the House - Host, Server, Server Assistant (provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner)
- Cooks (prep, set-up, service, clean up, and restocking of cooks line and appropriate prep areas)
- Front desk (provide excellent guest service, register guests, assign guest rooms and cabins, make, confirm, assist, and cancel reservations)

Sell Grand Canyon National Park Lodges in-park activities, and check-in guests with reservations for activities.
The AM Carman is responsible for inspecting, running repairs and servicing the GCR in-service passenger cars in compliance with Federal train movement instructions, train signals, and railroad rules and regulations to make up and supervise the movement of passenger and freight trains.
This is a full-time year round position working at the Grand Canyon Railway Locomotive Facility in Williams, AZ. The shop Manager assists in the oversight of the Electrical/ HVAC locomotive and passenger car repair operations and provides input for budgeting, personnel and engineering.
The Assistant General Foreman assists in the oversight of daily functions of PM Carman and Car Cleaner Crew. This position is responsible to fill-in for General Foreman in his/her absence.
The basic function of this position is to prepare baked items for the dining rooms and special functions.
The Bartender at Spenser’s Pub provides courteous, efficient beverage service to guests and servers while maintaining proper pour control and alcohol awareness.
Greeting and assisting guest with luggage from their vehicle when arriving. Provide bell service to guests by taking luggage, etc to/from room. Other assigned duties to facilitate guest services and efficient management of the hotel.
The Bell Attendant is a seaonal position responsible for providing exceptional bell service to guests as well as other assigned duties to facilitate guest service and efficient management of the hotel.
Maintenance of Boiler facilities, equipment and operations.
The Polar Express Buffet Server is responsible for providing expedient, efficient and courteous service to dining room patrons in taking and delivering of food and beverage orders while maintaining a positive attitude.
This is a part time year round position responsible for providing expedient, efficient and courteous service to The Grand Depot Cafe buffet dining patrons.
Clear and reset tables in the dining room and assist the Servers as needed.
Provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced Cafe'.
Provide outstanding guest service to guests in Cafe'. Responsible for cashiering in an efficient and accurate manner.
