Assistant Maintenance Manager  Yellowstone National Park Lodges is now hiring for an Assistant Maintenance Manager at the Old Faithful Inn!   The Assistant Maintenance Manager is a full-time, year-round position located Yellowstone National Park. This Position reports directly to the Old Faithful Maintenance Manager.   The Maintenance Staff Assistant is a full-time, year-round position located at the Old Faithful area of Yellowstone National Park.  To learn more about living, working, and exploring Yellowstone, check out our website.   This position is responsible for using the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to accurately and efficiently process Maintenance Service Requests and Work Orders.   A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Staff Assistant - Using the CMMS to maintain an accurate, organized inventory of repair parts and supplies. The Staff Assistant is accountable for this inventory as verified by periodic third-party audits.  - Using the CMMS to order required materials, repair parts and supplies. - Using the CMMS to receive all maintenance material deliveries. - Answering telephone calls, 2-way radio calls and responding to email; often serving as the location Maintenance Department’s first point of contact for information and requests for service. - Supporting Xanterra’s sustainability program and objectives. - Performing other duties as assigned.   What You Are Looking For Are you interested in working and living in Yellowstone National Park? Do you have a positive attitude and solid work ethic?   If you answered, “Yes” to these questions, the Maintenance Staff Assistant position is great for you!   Essential Skills and Knowledge The Old Faithful Maintenance Staff Assistant must possess: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Advanced computer skills to include proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite and experience with (or the ability to quickly master) the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). - Self-motivation and a proven track record of working under limited supervision. - Highly-developed organizational skills. Authorities - The Old Faithful Maintenance Staff Assistant is authorized and required to: - Stop any observed unsafe work practices. - Enforce adherence to established inventory control procedures. Physical Requirements - The Old Faithful Staff Assistant must: - Be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. - Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. - Be at least 19 years old and possess a current and valid driver’s license with a safe driving record for the past 3 years. - Be able to adapt to working and living at altitude (greater than 6,000 feet above sea level).
