The AM Carman is responsible for inspecting, running repairs and servicing the GCR in-service passenger cars in compliance with Federal train movement instructions, train signals, and railroad rules and regulations to make up and supervise the movement of passenger and freight trains.

This is a full-time year round position based at our Fred Harvey's Restaurant in Williams. Under direction of Kitchen Manager this position is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the kitchen at the Grand Depot Café (GDC) and Spenser’s Pub; and all banquet functions. The Assistant Kitchen Manager is a hands on role supporting food preparation, cooking, storing, labeling, checking food temperatures, organizing coolers, placing/receiving orders, prep lists, recipes, and specs.

The Certified Welder I is a skilled level position responsible for performing simple, routine, and repetitive tasks using standard welding procedures, tools, materials, machines, and equipment; ability to weld metal using stick, MIG, TIG, cutting with torch and plasma.

Under direction of the Sustainability Manager, this position will assist developing, implementing, monitoring, and tracking of procedures and best management practices for the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel. This position will help ensure the property’s environmental and safety policies meet or exceed ADEQ, OSHA, EPA, EPCRA, company polices, and commitment to maintain ISO 14001 certification.
