    Yellowstone National Park Lodges is now hiring for a Preventive Maintenance Program Manager-Facilities!

     

    The Preventive Maintenance Program Manager- Facilities  is a Year-Round, Full-Time, salaried, FLSA-exempt position based at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park.. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Engineering - Facilities. Supervises the CMMS Administrative Assistant (assets). This position does not include company housing.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    The Preventative Maintenance Program Manager is responsible for:


    1. The development, implementation and continuous improvement of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) based Preventative Maintenance program for all Xanterra-responsible facilities and utilities within Yellowstone National Park.

     

    2. Collecting relevant equipment specifications and technical data associated with existing equipment as well as new equipment installed by capital and maintenance projects; then ensuring this information is accurately reflected and maintained current in the CMMS.

     

    3. Ensuring material deficiencies identified by National Park Service (NPS) inspections are accurately reflected and documented in the CMMS.

     

    4. Developing and implementing a strategy to efficiently and systematically correct or clear NPS identified material deficiencies.

     

    5. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
    The Preventative Maintenance Program Manager must:
    1. Have a minimum of three (3) years of maintenance management experience.
    2. Have experience using at least one CMMS software program.
    3. Have a working knowledge of Preventative and Condition-Based Maintenance principles, methods and tools.
    4. Have experience in, and the skills required to manage and manipulate large sets of data.
    5. Possess strong technical writing skills and a talent for expressing complex concepts in easily understandable, concise language.
    6. Have a working knowledge of OSHA standards applicable to facility maintenance, operation and construction.
    7. Have well-developed organizational skills.
    8. Be proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, Operating & Maintenance Manuals, technical specifications and industry literature as required to develop meaningful, cost-effective Preventative Maintenance procedures.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    The Preventative Maintenance Program Manager must:
    1. Be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
    2. Possess the physical stamina and conditioning required to climb, crawl, crouch, squat in building spaces which may be hot, cold, underground or at significant height from the ground.
    3. Be capable and willing to drive throughout Yellowstone National Park in Company –provided vehicles.
    4. Be able to sit, stand, bend, and kneel for long periods of time as required.
    5. Be at least 21 years old and possess a current, valid, driver’s license with a good driving record for the past 3 years.


    AUTHORITIES:
    The Preventative Maintenance Program Manager is authorized and expected to:
    1. Promote Xanterra sustainability initiatives by preventing any negative impacts to the environment and incorporating best management practices.
    2. Stop unsafe work practices whenever observed.
