    The System Analyst - Infrastructure Support assists with overseeing information technology (IT) endpoint hardware assets at Yellowstone through the entire asset lifecycle under the direction of management as well as provides day-to-day support for all the end user hardware used at the property (desktops/laptops/Printers/POS Units) and leads the annual installations during opening and closing of the various locations. Role maintains electronic records containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s hardware and software.  Position is involved with planning, implementation, training, and on-going support of physical and virtual systems as well as other duties assigned by the Regional Director of IT, Director of IT and the Chief Information Officer. 


    1. Responsible for day to day procedures related to the identification, prioritization and resolution of end user requests, including the monitoring, tracking and coordinating of service desk functions.
      • Manage processing of incoming calls to the service desk via telephone and email
      • Document all pertinent information and nature of a problem or issue
      • Record the information in an online ticket system to ensure requests are resolved in a timely fashion (ServiceNow)
      • Support field teams by working, escalating or dispatching the ticket queue
      • Maintain a knowledge base of known issues and resolutions
    2. Leads team responsible for all day-to-day support of the endpoint hardware environments used throughout the park as well as support of the annual opening and closing processes for all locations within Yellowstone.
    3. Responsible for IT software license compliance.
    4. Assists with minimizing organizational costs and maintaining operating efficiency through asset management and tracking.
    5. Application of Capital Asset tags based on existing standards.
    6. Annual confirmation of IT capital assets.
    7. Coordinate IT storage room audits and adherence to standards.
    8. Maintains IT asset standards and procedures and conducts reports to determine compliance.
    9. Manage the workflow related to incident and/or service requests in a system that will record, analyze and report on incidents that affect service levels and/or operations.
    10. Use effective judgment and professional initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to customer and end user support issues, queries, challenges and escalations.
    11. Troubleshoot, analyze, track, escalate, resolve, and accurately document various technical problems and resolutions (i.e. software, hardware and client specific applications).
    12. Assists the IT Manager/Director with the completion of all Audits and maintaining security standards.
    13. Works with the Director of IT to ensure proper coverage of the Help Desk is scheduled and properly posted.
    14. Assists in the administration of all corporate backups and the daily handling of all tape/backup media.
    15. Provides backup support for centrally managed server functions to include procedures for backup, storage media, scheduling, and off-site storage. This includes disaster recovery hardware and applications for designated corporate systems.
    16. Oversees installation, support, training and administration of the telephone PBX/voice systems used at the property levels. This includes oversight of the installation and operation of the telecommunication facilities/circuits required for the PBX/Voice System to function properly outside of the property locations.
    17. Handles all day-to-day support IT functions needed within the property concerning the iSeries/AS/400.


    1. May need to assist in hardware maintenance on other application servers, arrays, SAN, and other equipment.
    2. May need to assist in server patching requirements as need.

    • Leadership – Serves as supportive leader for the department and the organization as a whole on areas concerning technologies and other spheres of influence. 
    • Analytical Skills – Demonstrates strong analytical skills including the ability to plan complex system-related projects. 
    • Technical Skills – Employee must have a working knowledge of various platforms including Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7/Windows 10, Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016, WSUS, Sophos, Solarwinds Patch Management, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2012/2016, Office365, Unitrends Backup Technology, Veritas Backup Exec, Veam and Active Directory, Security Knowledge – Knowledge of IT security compliance requirements.
    • Documentation Toolset Skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products is required.
    • Applications ExperienceExperience is preferred with the following applications but not required: Opera Property Management Suite from Micros (including Opera PMS, Opera ORS, and Opera OWS), LMS Property Management System (where appropriate), Aloha Tables Service Point of Sale, Simphony F&B POS,  Delphi Sales and Catering, and Raymark Retail Systems.
    • Must possess 5+ years of related IT experience, with demonstrated project management skills.



    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology, Hospitality Administration and/or Accounting
    • Background in hospitality-based IT systems
    • Project Management (PMP) certification
    • Prior experience with Payment Card Industry compliance requirements is preferred
    • Significant work experience can substitute for formal education.

    • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this position, standing, stooping and bending regularly are required, as well as the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


    • Work environment: May be exposed to unusual temperature ranges (both cool and hot). The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Minimal travel outside the corporate office may be required. Must be able to be on location or accessible via remote connectivity technology within a 30 minute time period in the event of an emergency.



    This position is responsible for the direct supervision of IT Technicians/Telecom-Infrastructure Technicians at Yellowstone who assists with support across the property.
