Management positions are open for several different departments including, Operations, Food & Beverage, Retail, Housekeeping, and Front Desk.
Yellowstone National Park Lodges operates over 2,000 guest rooms and 31 eateries within the park that range from fast casual to fine dining across 6 different villages. Each of these operations functions at high volume levels in order to accommodate the millions of visitors the park sees annually. Our parent company, Xanterra Travel Collection, strives to use local and/or organic ingredients whenever possible, for both guest and employee meals.
The Operations Manager has authority and responsibility to direct all phases of daily operation at the location/property level. While providing this direction, the Operations Manager will fully support, monitor, and control all programs instituted by the individual departments.
Food & Beverage Management
Food & Beverage managers are responsible for the oversight of all operations within their designated restaurant to ensure that staffing levels, budget, and guest and employee satisfaction are all meeting or exceeding expectations.
Retail Managers are responsible for the daily operation of the Gift Shop at their location, such as budget, merchandising, staff scheduling, inventory control, and meeting sales goals.
Housekeeping managers are responsibe for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department at his or her own location; including duties such as staff scheduling, quality control, budgeting and more.
Front Desk Management
The Front Desk Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the Front Desk and Bell operations. The goal of the Front Desk Manager is to maximize guest service while simultaneously maximizing corporate profits.

Yellowstone National Park sees approximately 4 million visitors annually. Our Hospitality Managers work hard to ensure the day-to-day operations at each of our 6 locations in the park run smoothly so that our guests have a truly unforgettable experience.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
Applicants interested in Guest Services in Yellowstone are drawn to the unique opportunity to work in the world’s first national park. You should be enthusiastic about our sustainability initiatives and mission to provide legendary hospitality. Interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential for these positions. Applicants must also have previous management experience in either Lodging or Food & Beverage.
