    As the local, on property meeting and event contact for customers at Cedar Creek Lodge, the Meeting and Event Services Coordinator is responsible for responding to all inquiries and seeing the business through from initial inquiry to post event follow up and billing.

    Year round position at Cedar Creek Lodge. Full-time position includes Benefits, 401k, Vacation, Sick Time, & Holiday pay.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to all meeting and event inquiries and offer timely continued correspondence
    • Lead all requests for property site inspections
    • Negotiate the terms, and contract with the customer
    • Provide continued internal and external correspondence leading up to the event
    • Develop and distribute internal event order forms
    • Set up and tear down event space including audio /visual
    • Assist in the preparation and service of event food & beverage requirements
    • Be onsite for the entirety of all events and act as lead internal & external contact
    • Schedule and adjust staffing levels determined by each event needs
    • Direct, monitor, and assist event staff to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
    • Ensure that event invoices are accurate and processed according to the customer agreement
    • Execute weekly meetings to review event details and requirements
    • Maintains event equipment and assesses need for repair or replacement
    • Purchase and maintain necessary inventories of event and catering supplies
    • Adhere to all event and hotel standard operating procedures 
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience required
    • Minimum 2 years front of house F&B or event service experience required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft windows including but not limited to, Outlook & Office  required
    • Experience in a hotel event and/or catering department is preferred
    • Back of house culinary experience preferred
    • Experience with scheduling, training, and coordinating staff is preferred
    • Must be able to multi-task, work independently and maintain a positive attitude 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to consistently lift up to 50lbs.
    • Position can require long hours with extensive standing / walking
