The Lead RV Park & Kennel Attendant position is a full time year round position responsible for assisting with the day to day operations, while providing excellent guest service, positive leadership, training and support to all team members.

Direct the selling of RV sites/kennels with special attention to up selling whenever possible.
Assist assigned Guest Service Agents in resolving discrepancies and balancing; report outstanding discrepancies to Manager; approve adjustments and paid outs following established guidelines; follow-up on all open folios for individuals & groups, balancing and checking out in a timely manner. Follow up with direct reports when needed.
Assist in the training and supervision of incoming Guest service Agents; constantly monitor their performance and appearance, report to Manager on Duty as necessary.
Monitor the flow of information from shift to shift and day to day through the use of verbal communication, shift reports and desk diary. Keep Management/Department Head aware of all situations using email, verbal or phone communication, depending on circumstances.
Adhere to all Xanterra lost and found policies and procedures, monitoring staff to do the same.
Maintains flexibility and availability to work split-shifts, nights, weekends and holidays; and call-outs as scheduled.
Works efficiently with little supervision, as well as ensure assigned tasks are completed by staffing unit.
Is knowledgeable with policies and procedures and able to assist staff with questions and training
Assign and assure completion of daily tasks including special projects to staff
Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner either in person or while answering the phone
Be aware of product locations, sizes, prices and other information which will assist the customer while maintaining Xanterra retail standards
Quickly and efficiently, perform the guest check ins for the RV Park including making reservations, building train packages, and making adjustments in the reservation system, collect payments, organize arrivals and departures, etc. all in a friendly and productive manor.
Quickly and efficiently, perform pet check ins and outs following written procedures including making computer reservations and collecting payments.
Accountable for recording proper information regarding care of pets (feeding, medicating, walking etc.) and for receiving proper records.
Ability to follow written procedures for opening and closing of 28 dog kennels and 16 cat kennels (cleaning, scrubbing, mopping, raking, disposing of feces, doing laundry, securing. etc.)
Responsible for issued bank including change orders and security of the bank; monitor staff to do the same.
Operate POS system maintaining accurate entries, charges, change, and deposits.
Assist with daily job duties of cleaning, dusting and stocking of shelves, dusting and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, etc.
Responsible for the security of the store and kennel when closing. This position may be responsible for performing closing duties during the evening or nights by themselves and/or opening by themselves
Other duties as assigned
Must be a self starter and be able to work under little supervison at times.
A valid/clear Arizona Driver’s License and ability to comply with Xanterra/GCR vehicle policy.
Must be flexible and available to work split-shifts, nights, weekends and holidays; and call-outs.
