Assist in the operation of the warehouse including all shipping and receiving responsibilities. Oversee warehouse operation and responsibilities in absence of Warehouse Manager.

• Take directive from distribution center manager and/or assistant and delegate work to distribution center personnel.
• Delegate the receiving of Retail merchandise into the distribution center and vendor orders arriving for the retail stores.
• Delegate the pricing/marking of merchandise in the warehouse and its assimilation into stock.
• Delegate the picking, packing, and delivery of stock to the retail stores.
• Assist in weekly physical inventory counts and verification.
• Delegate regular cleaning assignments of the distribution center and surrounding grounds.
• Train new shipping/receiving clerks in the distribution center procedures.
• Maintain security of the distribution center and the merchandise stored therein.
• Inform management of shortages and damaged goods received.
• Adhere to all safety, risk management, environmental policies while performing tasks.
• Wear required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1 year Retail shipping/receiving experience.
• Physically able to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Good delegating skills in assigning tasks to personnel.
• Good organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Possess good communication skills, plus competency in basic math skills.
• Ability to drive, backup and park a delivery truck.
• Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license and comply with GCNPL South Rim Company vehicle polies.
