Xanterra Retail Buyers are responsible for managing retail store categories that are assigned by the VP of Retail and the Corporate Director of Retail. This includes sourcing, designing, buying, pricing, replenishing and controlling open-to-buy dollars, while maintaining planned COS and driving top-line revenue. Communicates with the stores and works closely with the corporate and store operations teams to build a cohesive and profitable product assortment. Builds strong relationships with the vendor community, Distribution Center managers, and store management teams while working collaboratively with other Buying team members to create strong merchandising programs. Ensures stores achieve a high in-stock percentage especially on key items by utilizing the Raymark system. Works closely with the Corporate Retail Director, Assistant Buyers, store operations teams and supply chain network for a well-timed, well planned assortment.
