Bridge Bay Marina, the only marina in Yellowstone Park, offers a wide range of boating opportunities. Daily activities include: 41 passenger scenic cruise tours, guided fishing/sightseeing tours, back county shuttle excursions, motorboat rentals, rowboat rentals, and dock slip rentals. Yellowstone Lake is the largest lake in North America above 7,000ft in elevation. With 132 square miles of surface area, there is plenty to explore. The marina is open from late-May until mid-September, and remains open in all weather conditions: sun, rain, snow, etc.

All employee positions at the marina involve extensive guest contact. The goal is to provide our guests with safe, professional, and a top quality guest service experience. The marina is open from late-May until mid-September, and remains open in all weather conditions: sun, rain, snow, etc…
The Dock Hand position at Bridge Bay Marina is a very physical job involving extensive guest contact. This position is responsible for assisting and orienting the guests who rent the motorboats and rowboats. Dock Hands clean and maintain the motorboats and rowboats, and provide assistance with Scenic Cruise Tours. This position also performs grounds-keeping, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
Scenic Cruise Operator (USCG license required) / Scenic Cruise Mate
Both of these positions will perform the same job duties. Each tour is required to have a USCG certified Captain on board. The marina offers up to seven - one hour Scenic Cruise tours a day. While one Captain safely pilots the 41 passenger boat, the other Captain (Mate) gives a highly interpretative and entertaining tour to the passengers. The Captain and Mate will alternate these job duties each tour.
While safely piloting the 22’ Grady White charter fishing boats, the Fishing Guide will provide guests with a great fishing experience and interpretation on Yellowstone National Park. All guides are required to provide their own fishing gear for guest use. Our guides spend time with guests from all over the world and need to possess excellent teaching, communication, and guest service skills. A solid knowledge of fishing techniques and skills is required.
Front Desk Cashier- Marina Activities
This guest service position will handle all types of payment while selling the different tours offered at the Bridge Bay Marina. Typing, computer, and excellent guest service skills are required. This can be a very fast paced position and attention to detail is paramount. Our Cashiers work closely with guests from all over the world. .
Marina Management oversees the safe daily operations at the Bridge Bay Marina. This job requires computer and typing skills. A good working knowledge of boating and fishing is important. This position works very closely with 40+ staff members, the National Park Service, and guests from all over the world. The Marina Management job is very high paced and may require working long days and long work weeks. In this position there is minimal opportunity to be out on the water.
