     Welcome to the Engineering Department
     

     
     

    The Engineering department is on the front end of a 20 year concessions contract with the National Park Service.  Yellowstone National Park Lodges serves approximately 4 million visitors yearly, 2400 employees in park housing, 2100 guest rooms and 1200 campsites.  There are nearly 800 structures under our care throughout Yellowstone including a new LEED Platinum dormitory and 2 National Historic Landmarks in the Old Faithful Inn and Lake Yellowstone Hotel.

     

    Successful candidates will take pride in their opportunity to work in Yellowstone National Park and promote Xanterra’s sustainability initiatives so future generations can also enjoy Yellowstone.  They will be drawn to the daily unique challenges of working in a remote location, living and working with a diverse staff, and able to be flexible with changing weather conditions and job priorities. 

     

    The Engineering Department begins their season early preparing our facilities for guests and staff.  Candidates able to arrive in April and stay into November will be given priority.  Below are the positions available within the department.  Candidates should have some sort of professional and/or educational training pertaining to the position they are interested in.
