    We are actively seeking candidates for our Summer 2018 Team who are looking to take a break from the daily grind and step into the peaceful environment of one of the world's oldest national parks.

     

    Our operation features 2 separate areas within the Park - Rim Village and Mazama Village. We have 3 dining facilities, 3 retail outlets, a campground, cabins, and lodge. We also offer daily boat tours for our guests.

     

    Southern Oregon offers diverse recreational opportunities for your days off - we have deserts, rainforests, mountains, marshes, and the Pacific Ocean is only a few hours away. Of course, the gem of the entire region is Crater Lake!

    Responsibilities

     

    Summary: The Revenue Auditor audits daily sales and receipts for accuracy. Confirms all cash and credit card receipts have been accurately recorded.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    -Performs all duties with the ultimate goal of providing exemplary guest service.

    -Performs all duties in a positive and professional manner.

    -Performs all duties with accuracy and very high-level attention to detail.

    -Maintains positive and professional communications with coworkers and managers at all times.

    -Reviews and audits daily sales data as submitted by departments to check for accuracy.

    -Completes daily sales spreadsheet; investigates and resolves all discrepancies. Makes necessary corrections to ensure accuracy; communicates issues directly to Location Controller.

    -Coordinates with a co-member of Accounting Department to pick up daily deposit drops from operation safes.

    -Reconciles daily overage/shortage reports for each employee performing cashier duties; communicates any deficiencies or issues to department manager and Location Controller in a timely manner per Company policies and procedures.

    -Records all overages/shortages for weekly distribution to relevant managers and Human Resources.

    -Verifies and reconciles all bank deposits as prepared by the Cash Auditor.

    -Verifies and reports daily safe audit.

    -Maintains confidentiality and security as it relates to all Accounting functions.

    -Maintains adequate funds in the ATM; reconciles ATM information and cash logs.

    -Coordinates with a co-member of Accounting Department to fill ATM machine. This function is only performed in pairs.

    -Coordinates with a co-member of Accounting Department to fill change machines. This function is only performed in pairs.

    -Monitors pars in change machines; ensures adequate cash and coin levels are maintained so as not to negatively impact guest service.

    -Reconciles change machines to ensure employees have dropped the accurate amount in relation to change dispensed.

    -Ensures all vending machine monies are collected, rolled, and deposited in a timely manner.

    -Prepares transmittals and signs for cash deliveries from armored transport.

    -Performs all duties with attention to security. Follows all Company and National Park Service (NPS) guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure security of the cash room at all times.

    -Performs all administrative duties, including emails, phone calls, and other tasks, in a timely and professional manner.

    -Always utilizes assigned Company vehicle when transporting money.

    -Follows all federal and state laws, as well as Company policy, while operating Company vehicle(s).

    -Reports any issues to Location Controller in a timely manner.

    -Secures cash room and accounting cage before clocking out.

    -Monitors office supply pars; reorders as necessary to ensure smooth operation.

    -Adheres to all Company uniform and appearance standards.

    -Follows all PCI compliance guidelines and policies. Protects guest confidentiality at all times, including any information that may be used to access guest internet.

    -Performs all duties with consideration of the Company’s environmental commitment.

    -Performs all duties with respect to the Company’s Core Values, Mission Statement, and guest service standards.

    -Performs all duties in a safety conscious manner. Maintains a safe workplace. Reports all safety issues or potentially hazardous situations to the appropriate manager in a timely manner.

    -Performs other duties as assigned with positivity and professionalism.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

     

    Qualifications

     

    Qualifications, Experience, Physical Demands:

    -Prior experience in seasonal hospitality, especially National Park(s) highly preferred.

    -Prior experience in accounting, cash handling, and/or auditing required.

    -Valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record required.

    -Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and productively in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision required.

    -Prior experience with Opera and/or Simphony preferred.

    -Ability to use sound and reasonable judgment.

    -Ability to communicate effectively and accurately in a diverse environment.

    -Relevant degree or equivalent experience highly preferred.

    -Working knowledge of Microsoft office and other administrative tools, such as fax/scan equipment, highly preferred.

    -Physically able to: climb and descend stairs during workday, stand or sit in a small area for up to several hours in a single shift, perform all duties while only getting those breaks as required by Oregon state law, routinely lift up to 25 pounds, perform duties on computer screen throughout workday, bend/stretch/reach/lift as required throughout the workday.
