The RV Campground Host is responsible for ensuring campground users (Glacier employees) are knowledgeable of rules and regulations and to assist with assignment and placement of RV’s, campers, and tents in the appropriate campsite. The Host will provide professional and courteous service to employees in a method that ensures exceptional customer service. Hosts are responsible for ensuring all restroom facilities and common areas exceed the high standards for cleanliness at all times. Hosts are responsible for communicating all issues through the appropriate channels and to ensure successful resolution occurs in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain positive working relationship with employees and department representatives as needed.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
This position reports to the General Manager of Glacier National Park Lodges. High level of interpersonal communication skills, self-motivation; ability to work independently and problem solve.
Dependability – follow directions, responds to management direction.
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Knowledge of general work safety practices.
Safety and Security – observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs in all types of weather conditions.
Must be capable of lifting objects and push and pull items weighing up to 70 pounds.
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, crawling for extended periods of time are required. Repetitive motion of arms, wrist and hands while cleaning.
Arrive in your personal RV camper.
Knowledge of campground operations preferred.
