    Ensures that all linen and terry is clean and has been processed in a timely manner meeting the expectations of Xanterra Parks & Resorts standards while minimizing as much discarded product as possible. 


    **This position does not offer dormitory style housing, must live locally or have an RV. Laundry is located in Columbia Falls, MT.**


    **Due to the handling of chemicals, employee's must be at least 18 years of age for Washperson position.**


    1. Must be able to program and operate dryers and washers.
    2. Must be able to properly load and unload 350 lb. washer per instruction.
    3. Shakes out all linen that needs to be washed and dried.
    4. Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent.
    5. Dries linen coming from washers as per instructions.
    6. Keeps washers and dryers clean from debris and misc. particles.
    7. Sorts dried articles according to identification numbers or type.
    8. Folds linen both manually and by folding machine as required.
    9. May be required to help with inventory.
    10. Accurately stack, count, and load clean linens into laundry bins in an efficient timely manner. When at folding table, fold to production standards.
    11. Remove bins from dryers and empty linen items out and place in area to be processed.
    12. Assist in other duties as assigned by Laundry Management.

    1. Must be able to acclimate to a hot environment of up to 90°.
    2. Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to eight hours per shift.
    3. Repetitive motion of arms, wrist, and hands for up to eight hours.
    4. Requires occasional climbing, crawling, and squatting/kneeling. Could total up to 3 hours per day.
    5. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
    6. Must be able to push or pull items in caster bins weighing up to 400 pounds on a frequent basis.
    7. Must be able to wear earplugs on a frequent basis.
