Overview

Preparing food on the cold line, i.e. salads, wraps, desserts.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and tear down pantry area for scheduled meal period.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for scheduled shift.
  • Prepare menu items according to menu specifications.
  • Complete preparation list for next day according to written instructions.
  • Keep work area clean during shift and follow cleaning list at the end of shift.
  • Follow all sanitation guidelines.
  • Prep food for banquet events as required.
  • Control waste of food and log temperatures of refrigerated areas.

Qualifications

  • Previous production experience – 3 months.
  • Demonstrated proper food handling techniques.
  • Previous sanitation experience
    • All equipment used in food preparation – 3 months.
    • Including but not limited to:
    • Slicers, food choppers, ovens, stoves, knives, and refrigerators.

     

    Other requirements

    • Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs repeatedly.
    • Must be able to communicate with all member of the team
    • Must be able to maintain a full uniform
