The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a point of contact for routine employee inquiries, both in person and on the phone, including, but not limited to benefits, employee relations, recreation and recruitment.
Conduct monthly insurance enrollment meetings.
Assist with monthly/insurance billing reconciliation and audits as required.
Seek resolution in insurance billing/payment problems for employees as needed.
Track all sick and vacation benefit activity for employees, departments and property transfers.
Assist with filing, phone and processing new employees as needed.
Perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks.
Advertise and promote recreation activities. Assist with all employee functions, i.e. employee Halloween party, Holiday cart parade and Easter egg hunt festivities.
Responsible for creating and distributing monthly employee newsletter - Sandscript.
Responsible for transporting employees from/to Las Vegas airport and/or Las Vegas bus station.
Demonstrated professional verbal and written communications skills - strong customer service skills, proper phone etiquette and the ability to work well with others.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality related to personnel matters.
Appropriate public contact skills in dealing with persons with a wide variety of backgrounds, ability to deal tactfully with problem situations.
Knowledge of office procedures, protocol and file maintenance.
Excellent PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook and Lawson.
Must have valid driver license.
Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures when necessary.
Must be able to lift & carry 30 lbs.
Must be able to frequently walk, climb, squat/kneel and bend.
