Overview

To receive and greet guests in the Inn Dining Room for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Hours are AM or PM as required.  Reports to Inn Dining Room Manager and Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Must know how to field compliments and complaints to Manager.
  • Required to bus and/or reset a table.
  • Be familiar with food sanitation, fire prevention, safety issues, and emergency procedures.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned by Manager.
  • Answer telephone according to standards.
  • Maintain even flows of guests.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a host in upscale high-volume restaurant.
  • General knowledge of food and beverage industry with emphasis in hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Attend staff development training as required by Manager.
  • Neat and clean grooming and hygiene habits as set forth by Company guidelines.
  • Able to meet standards of a 4-Diamond Resort.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand 8 hours a day at minimum.
