Overview

To work under the direct supervision of the Sous Chef and the indirect supervision of Food & Beverage Managers & Chefs. Responsible for the sanitation and custodial upkeep of the Ranch Kitchen and restaurants. Responsible for the proper receiving and stocking of all products to the Ranch Kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of all food and non-food storage areas, the delivery area, and the garbage area.
  • Responsible for receiving all product and goods to the Kitchen, per established procedures.
  • Provide training and instruction to porters, and K.U.’s.
  • Ordering/requisitioning for entire Food & Beverage department through Foodtrack warehouse system
  • Involved in and initiate kitchen cleanliness inspection.
  • Self-starter and able to work unsupervised.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of dishwashing machines and stations routine.
  • Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage products and produce is a plus.
  • Must have a current driver’s license.
  • Possess good communication skills with some supervisory experience and show self-motivation.
  • Able to work flexible shifts.
  • Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire. On-site training is available.
  • Good physical condition, able to lift up to 80 lbs. frequently, climbs ladders and work in sub-zero freezer temperatures.
  • Must be able to bend, push, pull and lift for extended periods of time.
