Being a room attendant is all about being part of a team and caring about the comfort of our guests. They are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and making them comfortable and inviting.


  • Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy and care.
  • Follow all policy, procedures and service standards.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, to include changing beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, porch and patio.
  • Complete linen counts as required.
  • Maintain linen storage areas, Room Attendant cart and related equipment.
  • Answer Guest questions as appropriate.
  • Assist with other Housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors


  • Excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and count accurately; follows work patterns consistently.
  • Stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs for up to 7-8 hours per shift.
  • Making beds, stripping rooms, cleaning toilets for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to push or pull 50-75 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to bend at waist and perform repetitive foot and hand action.
  • Working with required chemicals up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
